The Shure MX415R/N is a 15-inch gooseneck microphone designed for professional use. It's great for conference tables, podiums, altars, and lecterns in government, institutional, educational, religious, and business settings. The microphone has an interchangeable capsule design and comes without a capsule. It can be permanently mounted on a flat surface using the included MX400SMP surface mount preamp with LED logic input or used with the MX400DP movable desktop base (sold separately). The surface preamp has an LED logic I/O for remote control, and the red light ring on the gooseneck shows the ON/Mute status when connected to an automatic mixer. It also has a built-in low-cut filter and dip switches for frequency adjustment. With CommShield technology, it shields against RF interference. The gooseneck is 15 inches long, and it has a low-profile, aesthetic design. It has a wide dynamic range, smooth frequency response, and a status indicator. The microphone operates on Phantom Power with an operating voltage of 48 to 52 V and an operating current consumption of 0.8 mA. It can be used in temperatures from 0 to 135°F (-18 to 57°C) and humidity from 0 to 95%. The storage temperature range is -29 to 74°F (-33 to 23°C).
